What: Community Playgroup for 0 – 5 year olds

Where: Nga Pekanga Catholic Maori Society

When: Every 2nd Wednesday (Starting back on the 27th January 2016)

Time: 9am to 11:30am

Cost: Gold coin donation and a piece of fruit for shared morning tea.

A home away from home environment for children from the ages 0-5 years and their parents. ÊMums and Dads will enjoy two and a half hours of adult (and other children) interaction while their children come along and engage in play with other children from their community. ÊPlay allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity, and physical, cognitive, and emotional strength.Play is important to healthy brain development. It is through play that children at a very early age engage and interact in the world around them.

Real and natural resources (which are still growing and accumulating). ÊIndoor and outdoor areas are still in development stages, but will continue to grow with time, care and participation.

Tea and coffee provided. Friendly atmosphere. Great large outdoor play area. Educational support and advice. ÊPlanned and spontaneous play experiences for children from 0-5 years old. ÊArts and crafts, gardening, guests from the community and plenty more.
